Wood Preservation Products

Tritec wood preservatives are third generation bicontinuous microemulsion concentrates, cleared under the Control of Pesticides Regulations for professional use and granted 1-hour re-entry clearance. The water based Tritec range offers excellent penetration to timber, is non hazardous and non flammable.
Tritec 120/Tritec 121
For the eradication of common furniture beetle (Anobium Punctatum) and other wood boring insects. Once diluted 24.5:1 with clean water, Tritec 120 has a permethrin content of 0.1%. and is supplied in 0.5 litre packs. (Tritec 121 has a Permethrin content of 0.2% when diluted 24:1 and is supplied in 1 litre packs.)
Tritec 120 Plus/Tritec 121 Plus

Woodworm infestation
For the eradication of common furniture beetle and other wood boring insects and for the control of wood destroying fungi. Once diluted 24:1 with clean water Tritec 120 Plus has a Permethrin content of 0.1% (Tritec 121 Plus has a Permethrin content of 0.2%. when diluted 24:1) Both are supplied in 1 litre packs.
Trimethrin OS
An organic solvent wood preservative for the eradication of wood boring insects.
Supplied ready to use in 25 litre packs.
Tripaste
A deep penetrating, heavy bodied "mayonnaise" type wood preservative for the eradication of wood boring insects and for the control of wood destroying fungi. Suitable for the treatment of timber which is difficult to penetrate with conventional sprayed preservatives.
Supplied in 10 litre packs.
Tribor Wood Preservation Products

Tribor water soluble products are ready to use formulations based on inorganic boron with glycol carriers. They are highly effective for the treatment of insect and fungal attack in timber and for the control of dry rot, mosses, lichen, fungi and algae on internal and external surfaces. Due to the hygroscopic nature of the Tribor products they are particularly suited to damp "at risk" timbers such as embedded joist ends, lintels, wall plates, rafters, panelling etc. Low volatility Tribor products offer deep penetration into wet or dry timber and masonry. They are virtually odourless and non flammable and have a very low mammalian toxicity.
Tribor Plus
A unique gel which combines boron with the insecticidal properties of permethrin. Its deep penetration properties mean that damp timbers, where death watch beetle is often present, can be successfully treated - even if the moisture content is considered too high for the use of conventional timber paste. Provided treated surfaces are protected until dry, there is no stipulated re-entry time.
Supplied in 5 litre packs.
Tribor 10

Evidence of dry rot below floorboards
Primarily formulated for use as a sterilising treatment against dry rot, but can also be used to control algae, moss and lichen. Will penetrate deeply and rapidly into infected masonry or sub site soil. Supplied, ready to use, in 5 and 25 litre containers.
Tribor 20

Dry rot to door frame
A highly effective biocidal product designed to be surface applied or injected into in-situ building timbers to eradicate and prevent fungal decay and attack by wood boring insects. Supplied, ready to use, in 5 and 25 litre packs.
Tribor Gel
Supplied in easy to use cartridges for injection into "at risk" timbers, typically embedded joist ends. Should be used in conjunction with Tribor 20.
Supplied in ready to use 400ml cartridges.
